Update 21st June 2026

Hello  well what a night we had on Wednesday.                               Garage sale that was organised at short notice went very well. We would like to thank those of you that shared details via Facebook. It is rather annoying to find out from "members" that they didn't know about it. ! It was these very same people that wanted us to get up to date and join Facebook. That said we had a really good turn out.  Ernie as usually did a sterling job with the selling and Kev was quite the "runner" look out Kev might seek you out for October. There was certainly lots of bargains to be had.  The eveing raised over £300. It was a very emotionsl evening, seeing someones  lifetime of collecting being sold. The daughter(sorry i didnt get your name)  of the gentleman whose stuff it was thanked us all for our support and informed us a percentage of the sale would be sent to St Teresa's to thank them for their care of her father .

Classic Car Museum Malta

Ian Wood recently visited this museum in Qawra. The Buggati shown is parked outside. Inside is a collectio of around 60 cars plus a selection of scooters. Inside the workshop there were 3 vehicles in various stages of restoration. There was a good selection of memorabilia on display and in a seating area there were bookshelves full of workshop manuals. The Austin in the picture below used to belong to the owners father. It was sought out, repurchased ,restored and now has pride of place in the museum.
